In the event that we are unable to offer the Cowsheds as a holiday let due to Government Lockdown on the date of your stay, we will refund you the full cost of your stay. In all other eventualities, the standard cancellation policy prevails. However, if you need to make a chargeable cancellation, we will go to every effort to re-book the Cowsheds. If we are successful, we will refund you the amount received on rebooking your dates.

Somerford Arms (Little Somerford, 3 miles, – recently refurbished, very popular with a buzzy atmosphere and delicious, reasonably priced food including child-friendly dishes.

Cross Keys (Bradenstoke, 2 miles – a swift climb up the Lyneham escarpment, this traditional village pub has had a recent refurbishment and is great for a pint. It also serves traditional pub food.

The Horse & Groom (Charlton, 7 miles, – along the lanes this Grade II listed inn offers flagstone floors, an open fire, a relaxed and cheerful ambiance, indoor and outdoor dining and good pub food.

The Potting Shed (Crudwell, 10 miles, – another popular gastro pub with excellent food and lively vibe.
